These data are electronically stored, processed, and used for internal purposes within the party, namely for member administration, communication, and support. In this context, you will also be assigned an individual membership number. At regular intervals, you will receive information from the party by post and e-mail. The data are processed by the CSV General Secretariat.
The responsible persons (President, Secretary, Treasurer, or the person in charge of new members) of the sub-organizations to which you belong, as well as of the local section of which you are a member, will also be informed of your party membership and data and may use them within the scope of their mandates and party work.
For the execution of certain specific tasks in the context of the General Secretariat’s work, and under the condition that a confidentiality agreement exists between the party and these subcontractors, data may be passed on to such third parties (subcontractors).
Upon termination of your membership, your membership data will be deleted. You have the right to know what data the CSV holds about you and for what purpose, and you may revoke your consent for the use of your data at any time. You are entitled to the rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and objection.
If you believe that your data are being used in violation of data protection law, you may contact the CNPD (Commission nationale pour la protection des données).
