Interview with the Centre for Equal Treatment CET

CSV MP Nathalie Morgenthaler met with representatives of the Centre pour l'égalité de traitement (CET). The CET is responsible for issues of discrimination on the grounds of race or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion or beliefs, disability and age, and is attached to Parliament. Luxembourg still has to transpose two EU directives on minimum standards for such institutions so they can fulfil their missions.

In a lively exchange, the discussion focused on the question of the necessary resources, independence and competences that such a law would need to include.
